Why was my credit card charged before the delivery was made?

When an order is placed the charge is put through on your card. When an order is placed for a fill we charge an amount large enough to cover the gallons you may take. Once the delivery has been made and we know the exact amount a refund is done to your card should you not take the full amount. This is the quickest way to secure payment and not tie up unnecessary funds for a pre authorization (some banks could take several days to remove a pre authorization!)

Commodities finished higher, with gold jumping after the Federal Reserve said it would keep interest rates stable at historically low levels. Oil also gained.

Natural gas has been getting a lot of bad press recently because of the fracking (‘hydraulic fracturing’) debacle. The problem is that this method of gas drilling is riddled with controversy and real environmental risks. Gasland, an Oscar-nominated documentary about fracking, brought to the world’s attention how people living near fracking sites had their water poisoned.

A new statewide survey of environment issues conducted by the Public Policy Institute of California found more residents favor climate change policy, want to cut greenhouse gas emissions and believe they are already experiencing the effects of global warming.

“This is a clear mandate that people want to move beyond dirty energy,” said David Graham-Caso, Los Angeles Sierra Club spokesman.

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) requires a Contractor to provide labor, equipment, supplies, transportation and services for Bio 5 Heating Oil deliveries to the USDA, ARS, PSWMRU Field Locations (identified in the attachment) in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this document. The USDA, ARS, PSWMRU will use this heating oil as fuel to run six forage dryers and to heat multiple buildings.

Gas Natural Inc. (NYSE Amex: EGAS) (the “Company” or “Gas Natural”), a natural gas utility company serving approximately 63,500 customers in six states, today reported that it has acquired the business of Independence Oil & LP Gas, Inc.
